My fake 110cc Honda Winn I bought in Saigon for 225 USD, somehow made it over 4000km through Cambodia and Laos. Toward the end, the bike was breaking down every few hundred kilometers, and I was constantly praying that I would make it to the next town. My motorbike trip ended in Vientienne since I couldn’t bring my bike into Thailand. I had a friend in Luang Prabang who wanted the bike, so I left it at his friend’s house and said goodbye to Laos. Kong Lor Cave is over seven kilometers long with a river running through it. There are guides there that will take you through the cave. Getting the bike on the boat was surprisingly easy and stable, but the boat was reaching its weight limit. At some points, water levels were so low, we were pulling the boat over humps. The roads in Cambodia are some of the worst in terms of unevenness, potholes, and dust. It was super exciting in the beginning when it all felt so new. After a month in Cambodia, the road conditions did not feel so fun, and my butt especially was not enjoying the long rides. (February 2024; Cambodia)

Some photos of Willow on our bikepacking trip before I lost my camera. The cycling path in Taiwan felt like the smoothest pavement I had ever experienced. Combined with the food and people, the lap around Taiwan quickly became one of my favorite experiences. (January 2024; Taiwan)

Made it to the southern most point of mainland Japan, with no food and no energy. Luckily I met this guy, he gave me a big box of cookies. I finished the box for dinner. (April 2023; Japan)
